5 And Ibhar,2984 and Elishua,474 and Elpalet,467

7 And Elishama,476 and Beeliada,1182 and Eliphalet.467
8 And when the Philistines6430 heard8085 that3588 David1732 was anointed4886 king4428 over5921 all3605 Israel,3478 all3605 the Philistines6430 went up5927 to seek1245853 David.1732 And David1732 heard8085of it, and went out3318 against6440 them.
9 And the Philistines6430 came935 and spread6584 themselves in the valley6010 of Rephaim.7497
10 And David1732 inquired7592 of God,430 saying,559 Shall I go up5927 against5921 the Philistines?6430 and wilt thou deliver5414 them into mine hand?3027 And the LORD3068 said559 unto him, Go up;5927 for I will deliver5414 them into thine hand.3027
11 So they came up5927 to Baal-perazim;1188 and David1732 smote5221 them there.8033 Then David1732 said,559 God430 hath broken in6555853 upon mine enemies341 by mine hand3027 like the breaking forth6556 of waters:4325 therefore59213651 they called7121 the name8034 of that1931 place4725 Baal-perazim.1188
12 And when they had left5800853 their gods430 there,8033 David1732 gave a commandment,559 and they were burned8313 with fire.784
13 And the Philistines6430 yet5750 again3254 spread themselves abroad6584 in the valley.6010
14 Therefore David1732 inquired7592 again5750 of God;430 and God430 said559 unto him Go not up38085927 after310 them; turn away5437 from44805921 them, and come935 upon them over against44804136 the mulberry trees.1057
15 And it shall be,1961 when thou shalt hear8085853 a sound6963 of going6807 in the tops7218 of the mulberry trees,1057that then227 thou shalt go out3318 to battle:4421 for3588 God430 is gone forth3318 before6440 thee to smite5221853 the host4264 of the Philistines.6430
16 David1732 therefore did6213 as834 God430 commanded6680 him: and they smote5221853 the host4264 of the Philistines6430 from Gibeon44801391 even to5704 Gazer.1507

8 Услышав о том, что Давид помазан в цари над всем Израилем, все филистимляне отправились искать его, но Давид узнал об этом и выступил против них.
9 Филистимляне пришли и принялись разбойничать в долине Рефаим.
10 Давид спросил Бога: — Идти ли мне на филистимлян? Отдашь ли Ты их мне? Господь ответил ему: — Иди, Я отдам их в твои руки.
11 Давид со своими воинами пошел к Баал-Перациму и разбил их там. Он сказал: — Бог разбил моих врагов моей рукой, как прорвавшаяся вода. Поэтому то место и было названо Баал-Перацим.
12 Филистимляне бросили там своих богов, и по приказу Давида их сожгли.
13 Филистимляне снова принялись разбойничать в долине.
14 Давид вновь спросил Бога, и Бог ответил ему: — Не нападай на них отсюда, но обойди их с тыла и напади на них со стороны бальзамовых деревьев.
15 Как только ты услышишь в вершинах бальзамовых деревьев шум, как от шагов, тотчас же вступай в бой, потому что Бог вышел перед тобой, чтобы разбить войско филистимлян.
16 Давид сделал так, как повелел ему Бог, и они разили филистимское войско всю дорогу от Гаваона до Гезера.
17 Слава Давида прошла по всем странам, и Господь навел страх перед ним на все народы.
